Interns from Kwansei Gakuin University and LJI — Looking Back on Past Activities

The Laos-Japan Institute (LJI) has been accepting interns from Kwansei Gakuin University since 2017. Participating in the university’s international volunteer program, “International Service Learning,” the interns work at LJI for about five months. With the exception of a temporary suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, LJI has hosted one to two students each year, welcoming a total of 13 students so far.

Their activities cover a wide range of tasks, including planning and managing events, public relations, and introducing Japanese culture. Leveraging their individual interests and strengths, the interns work side by side with LJI staff to carry out their activities.
