Library
At the LJI Library, you can browse over 10,000 books, newspapers, and magazines.
We have a particularly rich collection of Japanese manga and periodicals, making it a great place for both learning and relaxation.
Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
(Closed during lunch break from 12:00 – 1:30 PM)
Kafepa' Coffee & Cafe
kafepa’ is a café located inside the Laos-Japan Center (LJI).
We serve organic Lao coffee grown using the “agroforestry method” in harmony with nature. This special coffee is carefully produced by Mergion Company for true coffee lovers ♡
You can also enjoy Japanese meals, ice cream, and various drinks in a relaxing space.
We welcome you to stop by when visiting LJI.


Exhibition Corner
Located at the entrance of LJI, the Exhibition Corner is a newly established space to promote business networking among Lao and foreign companies and organizations, especially those from Japan.
Products and services from outstanding companies are on display, creating a space for connection, collaboration, and exchange.

Introduction of the organizations using LJI facilities

OJEIC Laos Office
OJEIC(Okayama University Japan Educational Information Center) is the center which engages in encouragement of studying in Japan for students in ASEAN by Okayama University as the MEXT, Japanese government project. Laos office provides students individual consultations and events about Japan, universities and scholarships in Japan, and thorough information on studying in Japan.


Gakken Classroom (Dongdok - LJI Center)
Gakken Classroom is a math cram school from Japan that began operating at the LJI center in 2025.
Gakken Classroom’s goal is to help children aged 5-11 improve their math skills using a curriculum and teaching materials developed in Japan. We also focus on cultivating “self-learning skills” and “logical-thinking skills” that can be applied to subjects beyond math and to a wide range of life skills. Gakken Classroom is also committed to fostering good manners in children through its unique “Tokuiku” education.
